INDUCTEES ANNOUNCED
The Class of 2009 includes:
Robert Tompkins, Bruce
McCLellan, John Masalski, Greg Ziogas, Eugene White and Melvin Buchanan.
The 11th Annual Plainville Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner will be Saturday October 3, 2009 at
Nuchie’s Restaurant, 164 Central Street in Forestville, CT. There will be a cash bar social hour from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with dinner and awards immediately to follow.
Ticket cost is $45.00 (10 SEATS PER TABLE)
Tickets are available at Angelo’s Modern Barber Shop on East Street in Plainville

NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
The dinner will also mark the final event for
Founder and Chairman Byron Treado who will be stepping down after 11 years of hard work to create and maintain the Plainville Sports Hall of Fame.

The Plainville Sports Hall of Fame created an Endowment Fund in September 2006 to assure the future of the Plainville Sports Hall of Fame. The fund was started with a $5,000 contribution in honor of John Toffolon, given by his family. The fund balance
is now $7,000. The target goal for the Endowment Fund is $50,000. Please consider a contribution in memory of a teammate or loved one to help maintain the legacy of Plainville Athletics and the Plainville Sports Hall of Fame. |
